RYS 200, in 2017

After a knee injury I decided to come back strongly and I found the Dou yoga in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.

RYS 200, in 2011

I earned my first Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential in 2011 through Yoga People in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn, NY. Also the same year, I graduated with a B.F degree in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Both happened three years after I initially came from Korea. I was exploring as looking for a certain way to get around the new world I had entered.  The yoga teacher training was very special to me as it helped me see life in a deeper way. In life, it is about half and half, good things and hard things. It has been 6 years of bumpy roads until I did my second Teacher Training in 2017. I had quit yoga for about four years to focus on being a designer. I injured my knee and had to pause another year to recver, but that's when I decided to come back strong for recovery, and do another teacher training in 2017.
